He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie and Jean; and his siblings, Jimmy, Walt, Gilbert and Linda.

He is survived by: his siblings, Richard of Seymour, TN, Phillip (Norma) of Rockledge, FL, Mary Poole (Don) of Middleport, OH, Patty Butler (Paul) of Mt. Clare, WV, Alfred of Enon, OH and Daniel of Santa Monica, CA.; his nieces and nephews, Sean Butler, David Poole, Ryan Butler, Jerald Thomas Edward Yee, Erica Poole, Jessica Yee and Ashley Vela; and his great-nephews, Leo Poole, Max Poole and Phoenix Vela.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kirkley Ruddick Funeral Home (421 Crain Hwy SE, Glen Burnie, MD 21061). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
