He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo Helmer; and his parents, Robert Helmer and Alice Moss. He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy (Kenneth Dailey) and Kemberly (James Stevens); his granddaughter Alicia Helmer; his grandson-in-law Alexander Herrera; his grandchildren, Kenneth (Danielle Dailey), Allison (Steven Rhodes) and Jacqulynn (David Meehan); his great grandchildren, Charles Derrick III, Shyenne (Thomas Quail), Christopher Spencer, Andrew Dailey, Jayden Rhodes, Angaliyah "Eli" Herrera, Shane Dailey and Lucas Meehan; his brother Butch Moss; and his niece Donna Helmer (Martha Darby). He is also survived by 2 beautiful daughters, 4 wonderful grandchildren, and 8 amazing great-grandchildren.
