She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Catterton; her parents, Viola M. Bailes Grimmett Murphy and Cecil H. Grimmett; her stepfather Robert Murphy; her stepson James W. Catterton; her brother Cecil H. Grimmett, Jr.; her stepson John T. Catterton; her daughter Karen L. Roper; and her son-in-law Jeffrey D. Roper.
She is survived by: her sisters, Vertie Sliger and Vada Ritchie; and her stepdaughters, Linda Predmore and Pam Gallagher. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
