He is survived by: his wife Teresa Green Gilbert; his brother Thomas Gilbert; his nephews, Paul Gilbert (Glenda) and James Gilbert (Bridget); his great-niece Patricia Gilbert; his great-nephews, Thomas and Johnathan Gilbert; his sister Genevieve; his brother-in-law William Metzger; and his great-niece Genevieve Metzger.
