He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling Levi Gatton and Eunice Gatton. He is survived by: his wife Cecelia Gatton of Severna Park, MD; his sons, Dale Gatton, Jr. of Culpeper, VA, Jeff Gatton of Deale, MD, Glen Gatton of Owings, MD and Scott Gatton of Arnold, MD; and his siblings, Dennis Gatton of Dagsboro, DE and Deloures Bergquist of Hempton, GA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
