She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lohrmann and Annie Wilkes; her husband Leonard "Carl" Hester; her daughter Barbara A. Ratliff; and her children-in-law, Darrell Ratliff and Donna Hester.
She is survived by: her children, James L. Hester of South Carolina, Michael C. Hester of Severna Park, MD, Patricia L. Hester (James L. Manning) of Crownsville, MD and Joseph Hester of Irving, TX.. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many friends.
