She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Braddock Jones and Helen Hopkins Jones; her husband Robertson Clemons Hesse; her daughter Helen Robertson Hesse Skipper; and her siblings, Charles Braddock Jones Jr. and Virgina Jones White.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Courtney Elizabeth Skipper-Reeves "Cal" and Jonathan Carmichael Skipper "Melanie"; her great grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Reeves, Isabella Skipper, Nathan Skipper and Jillian Skipper; her son-in-law Joe Carmichael Skipper of Jackson, AL.; and her brother Palmer S Jones of Bluffton, SC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many relatives and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the The-Field Episcopal Church (375 Benfield Rd, Severna Park, MD 21146).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
