With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emory E. Giddens (Severna Park, Maryland), born in Bushnell, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Emory departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Emory may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Emory leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his sister Barbara Woodall of Longwood, Florida.. He is survived by: his wife Penny Giddens; his daughters, Buffy Giddens and Channing Hawken; and his grandchildren, Camden, Brianna and Travis Hawken.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hospice of the Chesapeake or the Anne Arundel County SPCA, two organizations close to his heart.
