She was predeceased by : her husband Robert J. LaPorte; her siblings, Willie Mae McConnico (Bill), Eleanor Logan Martin Jordan (Bernard), James F. Martin (Marge) and Harry Kennedy Martin (Bubba); and her daughter Marie LaPorte Tuthill.
She is survived by : her children, Bruce Chambliss (Courtney) of Stevensville and Eleanor Martin Chambliss (Marty) of Annapolis, MD; her grandchildren, Linda LaPorte Duvall, Virginia LaPorte Watson (Mike) of North Carolina, Bruce Jr. Chambliss (Meg), William Chambliss, Benjamin Chambliss (Leah), Bradley Chambliss (Kelly Martyn), Brendan Chambliss, Scotty V Slocum (Michelle Karadis) and Robert Duvall (Shannon); her great grandchildren, Scott VI, Slocum, Liliana Duvall and Winter Grace Chambliss; her granddaughter Christine Marie Vitello; and her friend Lillian.
