He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernadette M. Bender and Edward R. Bender; his wife Roxane Brown Bender; his son Michael J. Bender; his daughter-in-law Ashley N. Bender; his siblings, Alan Bender (family: Mayko, Mica, Noa, Sage Bender) and Alison Bender; his niece Sara Carr; his son Justin Carr (family: Jessica, Mason, Sean, Sophia); and his uncle Michael Bender.
