Mary Carter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Carter (Severna Park, Maryland), who passed away on December 30, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Rice and Louis Rice of Brewer, Maine.; her husband Walter C. Carter; her siblings, James Rice, Margaret Lyford and Thomas Rice; and her son Timothy William Carter.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela J. Thompson, Deanna L. Carter of Raleigh, NC, Jeffrey T. Carter of Millersville, James W. Carter of Ivoryton, CT, Cynthia Pfanstiehl of Silver Spring, MD, Bruce Carter of Severna Park, MD, John S. Carter of Arnold, MD, Donald L. Carter of New York, NY and Scott A. Carter of Nashville, TN.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
