He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Shaw (Sanderfer) and Thurmond Shaw of Cartersville, Georgia.; and his stepson Ryan Barnett. He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Barnett; his siblings, Sandy Howell (Harvey Howell), Clifford Shaw (Janice Seeger) and Eddie Shaw (Liz Shaw); his nephews, Phillip Howell, Penn Howell, Clay Howell, Thurmond Shaw, III, Jack Shaw and Sam Shaw; his girlfriend's children, Amanda Wright, Megan Bowman and Ryan Barnett; his cousins, Paul Green and Ellen Lipham; and his family Jeff. He is also survived by three great-nephews, and one great-niece.
