He is survived by: his children, Benzner Grimes, Rodney Grimes, Ronda Spence (Neal), Jennie Greene and Lashawn Russell (Michael); and his siblings, Calvin Grimes and Helen Carter of South Carolina. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other relatives, neighbors, and dear friends.
