He is survived by: his wife Gail A. Tyler; his sons, Gilford V. Tyler, Jr. (Tyrase), Andre'T. Tyler and Brandon L. Tyler; his mother Augustine Smith; his grandchildren, Breonna, Leah and Ahmad Tyler; his great grandchild Isaiah Gardner, Jr.; his siblings, Cora Dempsey, Veronica Pratt, Denise Holland, Justine Booze (Fred), Therla Smith, Charles Tyler, Montel Tyler, Victor Smith, Sr., Clayton Smith, Jr., Maurice Smith (Veronica), Brian Smith and Kenneth Smith (Ladeana); his siblings-in-law, Yvonne Thompson, Joyce Scott (Anthony), John R. Foote, Charles Blake, Ellsworth Foote (Zeela) and Gordon Foote; his godson Cory Dennis; his uncle Jant Thompson (Bessie); and his aunts, Kathlene Hicks and Ethel Thompson. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
