With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vivian Lea Martz of Sharpsburg, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, David William and Virginia Fraley (Nicewarner); her stepmother Agnes Fraley; and her brothers, Joseph Fraley, Forrest Fraley and Daniel Fraley.

She is survived by: her husband James Harry Martz, Sr.; her children, Vicki L. Stoner (Raymond) of Norfolk, VA, James H. Martz, Jr. (Kimberly) of Sharpsburg, MD and David G. Martz (Terry) of Trego, MD; her siblings, Geraldine Mauk of Deltona, FL, Marvin Fraley (Norma Jean) of Brownsville, MD and Richard Fraley (Brenda) of Smithsburg, MD; her grandchildren, Tara S. Martz (Chris), Matthew D. Martz (Katherine) and Sean R. Martz (Joyce); her stepgrandchildren, Tamara N. Shew (Josh) and Ashley B. Itnyre; her great grandchildren, Logan, Zion, Vladmyre, Anastasia and Ezra; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaylie, Kaydyn, Julian, Alexa, Addyson and Gunner; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Martz.
