Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Garnet Harvey Ball of Sharptown, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away at the age of 85, on April 4, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Lee and Ivy Ball; his wife Norita Rudderforth Ball; and his siblings, John Lee Ball, Elizabeth White and Ann Cameron.

He is survived by : his children, Stacy Cottingham (Jeff) of Maryland, Stephen Byington (Karen) of Kentucky, Susan Miller (Wayne) of North Carolina, David Byington (Terry) of Florida and Dawn Byington (Linda) of Florida; and his sister Laurie Phoebus. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
