She was predeceased by: her parents, John Raymond McCabe and Florence McCabe (Carey); and her husband J. Oliver Smith. She is survived by: her children, Charlese Smith of Bishopville, Dean O. Smith (Robin) of Bishopville and Brian Smith (Sheri) of Bishopville; her grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Katie), Olivia Tyndall (Matt), Erin Kim Adam Smith (Brett), Sarah Smith, Emily Smith, Chris Boston and Brandon Boston; her great grandchildren, Garner Smith, Fletcher Smith and Addie Tyndall; and her brother J. Robert McCabe.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bishop-Hastings Funeral Home (19 S Main St, Selbyville, DE 19975). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
