It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Rose Young (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Etheridge and Marion Etheridge; her daughter Angie; and her grandson Corey. She is survived by: her husband Walter Young of Culpeper, Virginia.; her children, Walter Jr. (Maria), Anthony and Tashia; and her grandchildren, George, Audrey, Stephanie, Sean, Brian, Justin and Brandon. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to the American Diabetes Association.
