He is survived by : his daughters, Laurie Caplan and Amy Hackerman; his sister Rita Hackerman Hammerman; his son-in-law Joseph Caplan; and his grandchildren, Seth Caplan and Bayla Caplan.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Judean Memorial Gardens (16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832). A burial was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024.
