She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Patrick Nearey; and her parents, Maurice Herndon and Marie Varnell Herndon. She is survived by: her brother Albert Herndon (Joy); her children, Anne Marie Nearey Steiner (Ed) and Kevin Michael Nearey (Christine); her grandchildren, Marjorie Steiner Collins (Eddie), Jennifer Steiner Meisinger (Aaron), Joseph Steiner (Laura), Nathaniel Steiner, Elizabeth Nearey Sweeney (Justin) and Alexander Nearey (Nina); and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Lila, Maia, Fen, Adalyn, Audra, Kieran and Isla.
