Donald James Cowan Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Donald James Cowan of Silver Spring, Maryland. Donald, born on December 5, 1943, passed away on July 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Dimm Cowan and Ralph Dudley Cowan; his stepmother Helen Cowan; his brother Bruce Cowan; and his stepbrother Van Aubry Goss.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Pidcock Cowan; his brother Roger Cowan (Vesna); his sister-in-law Jo Pidcock Wilkerson (Norman); and his nieces and nephews, Mathew Cowan, Brian Cowan, Erin Wilkerson Mulligan and Kathryn Wilkerson Pike. He is also survived by friend's child.
