With sadness, we share the passing of Gloria L. Jackson of Silver Spring, Maryland. Gloria, born on November 18, 1931, passed away on June 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Perry and Ruby Smith; her husband Dr. Benjamin Jackson; her daughter Jolie-Ann Jackson-Willett; her siblings-in-law, Leona Mae Ruffin and Dr. Travis Jackson; and her nephew Bruce Travis Ruffin.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Benita Jackson (Lewis Smoot Jr), Pamela Jackson (Steve Kanaras) and Benjamin Jackson Jr. (Sylvia Berryman); her grandchildren, Alicia K. Willett (Rhoen Prusse-Adams), Jenna Willett, Alexander Willett and Lewis Smoot III (Ann Marie Magnus); her great grandchildren, Magnus and Kira; and her nieces and nephews, Valerie Mathews, Lorna Conley, Susan Delaney Jackson, Paul Ruffin, Jr. and Travis Jackson.
