With sadness, we share the passing of Guy Marshall Hayslett (Silver Spring, Maryland). Guy, born on January 9, 1943, passed away on October 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Myrvin and Mildred Virginia Brown Hayslett; and his brother Russell Brown Hayslett. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Marshall (Caroline Osborne) and Laura Ann (Mike Davis); his grandchildren, Ryan, Gracie, Nathan, Hayley, Sydney, Jordyn, Julianne and Michael; his wife Sandra Kay Eaton Hayslett; and his sister Paula Jean Askey (Roger). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Viers Mill Baptist Church (12221 Veirs Mill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20906). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Viers Mill Baptist Church in memory of his love for missions or the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 641 in memory of Guy's dedication to his fellow servicemen and women.
