She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Lisa Conlon and John Brendan Walters; her grandsons, Matthew and Joseph Conlon; her brother Eric Basques (Arlene); her former husband Graham P. Newman; her sister Sylvia Lillian Popkin; and her parents, Julia Bazques and Osvaldo Bazques. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (12319 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904).
