He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian A. Granger and Dorothy Helmick Granger; his wife Margot L. Richardson Granger; and his sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Granger Bryant and Julia "Judy" Granger Dawson.
He is survived by: his daughter Jamie Lynn Damewood; his son-in-law William; his son Tom Granger; his daughter-in-law Tiffany; his son James Granger, II; and his brother Charles H. "Chuck" Granger. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Directory (654 Athens Rd, Princeton, WV 24740).
