He is survived by : his wife Frances Powers; his children, Matthew (Lisa), Thomas (Tracy), Paul (Lynn) and Frank (Amy); his siblings, Helen, John, Mary, Virginia, Jean and Larry; his grandchildren, Christi, Matt, Audrey, Jack, Isaac, Maddy and Lily; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Caeleb.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greenbelt American Legion Post 136, 6900 Greenbelt Rd, Greenbelt, MD 20770.
