It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Thomas Mackay Jr. in Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Mackay and Anna Mackay; his siblings, Patsy, Joey, Barbara, Johnny, Liz and Billy; his wife Lauren Bennett Mackay; his children, Kimberly (Scott), Mark (Karen), Brian (Caroline) and Alysa (Daniel); his grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley (Paul), Nicholas (Maggie), Rachel (Bruno), Brittany (Tucker), Noah, Toby, Seth, Korey, Connor and Layla; and his great grandchild Micah. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (8900 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910).
