Janet Louise Foley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2025, Janet Louise Foley of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Foley, Jr.; her son Craig A. Zimmerman; her sibling Thomas W. Young; and her former husbands, Harry L. Slye and Roy A. Zimmerman.

She is survived by: her children, Debra L. Dillon (James) and Ronald A. Zimmerman; her grandchildren, Jennifer Dillon Shosho (Nicholas), Jeffrey Dillon (Rebecca), Ryan Zimmerman (Alisa), Kevin Zimmerman (Kristen), Robert Zimmerman (Megan) and Arika Zimmerman Fisichello (Mario); her great grandchildren, Katherine, Dylan, Jacob, Aiden, Abigail, Grace, Caden, Kylie, Cole and Remi; and her stepchildren, Jessie B. Foley, Joanne Foley Green (Matthew), John W. Foley III (Margot), Jeremy N. Foley and James L. Foley (Kerry). She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tappahannock United Methodist Church.
