He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Witmer; his children, Michael Witmer (Cara Witmer) and Kimberly Witmer; his grandchildren, Amanda Witmer, Justin Witmer and Matthew Witmer (Lauren Witmer); Owen Witmer.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of Saint Andrew (15300 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20905).
