She is survived by: her husband Charles Ward; her daughters, Leta, Linda (Bernette) and Charlene (Derrick); her grandchildren, Anthony and Ayanna; her great grandchild Makai; her siblings, Michael and Monica; her sister-in-law Angela (late Arthur); her nieces and nephews, Sandra, Phillip, Diane and Wayne; her great-niece Andrea (Gregory); Alexa and Alison. She is also survived by family, devoted friends, former colleagues, neighbors, and beloved brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Collins Funeral Home (500 University Blvd W, Silver Spring, MD 20901). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Parklawn Memorial Park (12800 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20853).
