She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldra Rabsattt and Eugene Marteen Sr.. She is survived by: her significant other Elroy Hill; her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Rosanna; her stepgrandson Jene Andre Garcia; her granddaughter-in-law Jomyka; her great grandchildren, Markuz and Harper Lily; her brother Eugene Marteen Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Valdemar A. Hill Jr., Donald Hill, Lowell Dyer, Wendell Trent, Kathleen Hill Dyer, Florence Hill Trent, Charlene, Jennifer and Lorraine D. Hill. She is also survived by marriage with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of St Andrew (15300 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20905). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
