Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Collins Funeral Home (500 University Blvd W, Silver Spring, MD 20901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. Ella fue directora del Departamento de Biología desde 1977 hasta 2002, continuando, como profesora emérita, su trabajo para la UVG Altiplano hasta la pandemia por COVID, contribuyendo activamente a la investigación en el lago de Atitlán y la enseñanza.
