She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Benedict Lau; her parents, Ray Coberly and Neva Coberly; her son Patrick Lau (Megan); her grandsons, Ethan and Brady; her daughter Sherry Lau Soenen (Bruno); her grandchildren, Willem, Théo and Yann; her great grandchild Michael Lau (Liz); her son Eric Lau (Danielle); her grandsons, Tyler, Tobias and Eli; Noah and Sophia. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and a large circle of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church (11803 Claridge Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20902). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
