It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Zancan of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Maria may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mario. She is survived by: her children, Laura and Louie (Mary); her grandson Daniel; and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Quinn, Mae and Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (15663 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20906). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
