He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Martha Bell; his children, Adrianne Bell and Allison Tutalo (Michael); his granddaughters, Amanda Cost (Tristan) and Kaitlyn Thompson (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Oakley Thompson and Paisley Cost.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated for Saint Luke Lutheran Church.
