Costa; her stepchildren, Paul Costa, Jeanine Costa Hudson, Cecile Costa Woods and Mark Costa; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Isabella Scout, Henry, Leonardo, Quentin, Leilana and Adriene.
After raising her children, she served as head of the National Institute of Health's Foundation Bookstore.
