We are sad to announce that on November 30, 2025, at the age of 88, Mary John Thomas (Silver Spring, Maryland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mammen Kurien and Sarah Kurien; her husband Johnny Thomas; and her siblings, Mammen and Aleyamma Varghese.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gita and Sarah; her sons-in-law, Shaji and Steve; her grandchildren, Priya, Joshua, Conor, Hannah and Kamala; her siblings, Annama Varghese and Achama Varghese; her nieces, Vincy and Jasmine; and her extended family, Mary, Job, Joy, Jessy, Mini and Achenkunj.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rental Hall (13505 New Hampshire Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20904). A committal service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Norbeck Memorial Park (16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD 20832).
