As Mary Louise departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mary Louise. Though Mary Louise may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard W. Merchant and Louise F. Merchant; and her sister Margaret E. Merchant. She is survived by : her cousins, Douglas L. Phelps, Jr. and Jarlene E. Phelps.

A graveside service was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Hillcrest Heights, MD 20746).
