It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Brock (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 6, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linwood Staunton Brock, Sr. and Betty Virginia Gibbs Brock; and his brother Linwood Staunton Brock, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Grace Elizabeth Brock; his wife Vivian; his siblings, Cynthia Brock, Steven Brock, Debra Vaughan (Paul), Roslyn Grant (Steven) and Dewitt Roseborough, III (Vonda); his nephew Gregory Hancock; his nieces, Danielle, Aisha, Keena Brock, Bianca Harris and Jazmyn Goins; and his aunt Lois Taylor. He is also survived by ten grandnieces, eight great grandnieces.
