With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Opal L. Bell (Silver Spring, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Opal left this world on September 27, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Opal shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Opal farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Mary Burns, Dolores, Polly and John Isham Thomas; her sons, John, Jeffrey, Jay and Jules; her granddaughter Julia; and her father Herlihy Award.
