He is survived by: his brothers, John Emory and William Edward Jones; his great-aunt Frances French Harris (Edward Harris); his wife Teola Thomas of Emporia, Virginia.; his children, Courtney Lynn Baines (Tyrone II) and David Lawrence Jones; his grandchildren, Tyrone III, Kendall and Adrienne; and his sisters-in-law, Flora Richardson and Ernestine Smartt. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and so many wonderful friends, fraternity brothers, classmates, colleagues, and neighbors.
