He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Viola Borchardt and Owen Borchardt; his wife Sandy; his sister Frances Borchardt of Ilchester, Maryland; his children, David Borchardt (Dena) of New Market, Maryland, Kellyann Dorfman (Marc) of North Bethesda and Susan Borchardt (Rob Pazmiño) of Catonsville, Maryland.; and his grandchildren, Alexa, Michael, Katherine, Madeline, Rebecca, Cameron and Remington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bob's memory to Autism Speaks or the Alzheimer's Foundation, two causes close to their hearts.
