Though Robert Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janet Woodward; his son Jason Woodward (Shannon); his grandchildren, Tyler and Harper Woodward; his siblings, Betty Marcellino, James Woodward (Sharon), Ray Woodward (Jeannie) and Ralph Woodward (Rita); and his parents, Hope Woodward and Lenahan. He was also cherished by loving extended family on both sides to include nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Collins Funeral Home (500 University Blvd W, Silver Spring, MD 20901). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
