He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sherman; his children, David (Anne Banner), Steven (Jennifer Levine) and Allison Grossman (Geoffrey); and his stepchildren, Bryn Sherman, Bryan Sherman, Jon Sherman (Justine) and Darryl Sherman (Matthew Koch).
