She was predeceased by: her siblings, Alexander Reese, Sr. and Annie Gay Bundridge Reese. She is survived by: her husband James C. Moone; and her daughters, Ruby Reese Moone Domingue and Jamesa Moone Hunter (Erik). She is also survived by six grandsons; five loving siblings; and a host of nieces, nephews.
In recognition of her lasting impact, parents later established The Ruby Reese Moone Foundation to provide textbook assistance to low-income college students in her honor.
