The memory of Shirley Statom Henderson (Silver Spring, Maryland), who passed away on April 23, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Joseph Cornelius Statom (J. C.) and Arlene Carwise Statom; her niece Yolanda Anita Statom; and her nephew Fergus Statom. She is survived by: her brothers, William Lee Statom, Therman Emanuel Statom, Joseph Cornelius Statom, Jr., Fred Emanuel Statom and James Parnell; her children, Sheila Henderson Jones, Linda Henderson Burke (Robert Byron Burke III), Arthur R. Henderson, Jr. (Skip) and Edwin Anthony Henderson (Tony); her nieces and nephews, William Lee Statom, Jr., Therman Charles Statom, Maria Statom Coleman, Deborah Arlene Statom, Kenneth Adrian Statom (Joyce), Keith Johnson Statom, Freda Statom-Greene (Darel Greene), Faye Statom Rodriguez (Michael Rodriguez) and Fred Emanuel Statom, Jr.; and also, Emery Robert Brian Jones (Carly Reed Jones), Kia Arlene Gutter (Andrew Charles Gutter III) and Robert Byron Burke IV. She is also survived by her four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Inter-Faith Chapel (3680 S Leisure World Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
