He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kovalchik and Marleen Kovalchik (Shick) of Leechburg, PA.; his wife Fran; and his stepdaughter Margaret. He is survived by: his children, Ward "Skully" Wingrove, Jeff Wingrove (Maria), Sharon Vielbig (Stephen), Roy Wingrove (Geri), Sandi, Paula Larkins (Phil) and Mindy Kovalchik (Will); and his siblings, John (Joan), Daniel (Gloria), Michael (Brenda), Thomas (Yvonne), Joseph (Ana) and Marleen (Kim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
