He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Raines and Hershel E. Matthews. He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Rigdon and Sherry Baker; his siblings, Brenda "Teeny" Matthews, Jan Browne (Maurice) and Marci "Gigi" Vanhorn (Steve); and his nephew Ronnie Keeter. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (6329 E Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502).
