She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo José Savanco and Luz Argentina Savanco; her husband Dr. Carlos A. Gordillo; and her son Carlos R. Gordillo. She is survived by: her children, Virginia Valenzia (Richard), Eva, Alicia Taylor (Andrew), Graciela "Grace" Sokolowski (Daniel) and Pablo; her daughter-in-law Leigha; her grandchildren, Miranda, Damon, Layla, Paisley, Madalyn, Marcelo, Eloise, Helena, Charlotte, Richard Jr., Victoria, Carlos, Laurence, Adriana and Leah; her great grandchild Kaiden; and her siblings, Luz Graciela (Aldo José), Cristina, Carmen (José Luis), Pablo (Catalina), José Alberto and Roberto. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
In honor of our mother's life and the causes she cared about, she wished that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Lung Association (https://action.lung.org) or American Heart Association.
