It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilhelmina Varner of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. Roach and Pauline Roach (Frederick); her brother-in-law Arnold Hendricks; her husband Charles; her sons, Charles Jr. and John Steven; and her brother John Joseph Roach.
She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly "Kim" Varner; her niece Karen Hendricks; her sister Helen Hendricks (Tootie); her siblings-in-law, James Varner, Lucille Varner and Annie Varner; and her friend Saundra Hendricks Harding. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
